He has had a lot of bad ones.
He has to stop endorsing Bush League Republicans.
We will never Make America Great Again by re-electing Assistant Democrats.

Clicking through to the link, it sure sounds to me like Merrill was set up for blackmail and/or to be taken out as convenient (such as from this Senate primary).
Yeah, his fault for taking the bait, etc., but it has the odor of a political operation to me.

You misunderstood, he was agreeing that this was a good endorsement, but that he would not be voting for Trump’s bad endorsements (McCain, Romney, Mitch, Grahamnesty, etc.)

As an ex-President, Trump will have more freedom to endorse more reliably conservative candidates. He is not under pressure from the likes of McConnell or Ryan to support the likes of long standing RINO incumbents against conservative opponents.
