Just how deep does the hole “60 Minutes” is digging for itself go? Let’s just say they’ve already got both feet in the grave:
Members of both parties have accused the venerable newsmagazine show of concocting a “hit piece” accusing the potential 2024 Republican presidential candidate of engaging in a “pay-for-play” scheme involving the grocery store chain Publix. CBS News issued a statement on Tuesday defending its Sunday night report.
“When Florida state data revealed people of color were vaccinated at a much lower rate than their wealthier neighbors, ‘60 Minutes’ reported the facts surrounding the vaccine’s rollout, which is controlled by the governor,” a CBS News spokesperson told Fox News. “We requested and conducted interviews with dozens of sources and authorities involved. We requested an interview with Gov. Ron DeSantis, he declined; we spoke to State Emergency Management Director Jared Moskowitz twice, but he declined to be interviewed on camera for our story until well after our deadline. The idea we ignored their perspective is untrue.
“For over 50 years, the facts reported by 60 MINUTES have often stirred debate and prompted strong reactions,” the spokesperson continued. “Our story Sunday night speaks for itself.”
It most certainly does.

“60 Minutes” and CBS had the chance to come clean. They had multiple chances to come clean. And they’ve chosen instead to double, triple, and quadruple down.
Don’t know what is more surprising. That anyone still watches 60 Minutes, or that there is anyone who doesn’t already know it is fake news.
Where are the demands that 60 Minutes be cancelled?
Remember the Dan Rather 60 minutes story about the “fake but accurate” documents from the early 70’s about GWB? There response to the discovery that the documents were created in word (one of many evidences being the superscripting) was to show a letter from that time with superscripting. Except it was made on rarely used professional media equipment of the day, not some military officer’s secretaries desk typewriter.
i.e. they are doing it again. They have learned nothing. What is that old phrase? Oh yeah. “Fool me once...”
Yes it does, it tells us all quite clearly that CBS is a corrupt news organization and in reality is only a Leftwing activist group.

As a Freeper I am not reluctant to say the reason blacks are being vaccinated at a lower rate.
Namely, there are polls showing that black people do not trust the vaccine.
A few weeks ago a friend of mine (a person not of color) went to a Florida vaccination site to get his Phizer shot located in a black neighborhood because so few blacks were getting vaccinated
OK, I don't watch 60 Minutes (of trash), so IDK what they had to say about that. Hmm..., maybe fewer blacks want the vaccination?
I doubt CBS would want to let that "bothersome" little fact to come out.

60 Minutes has been a producer of lies and fake news for over 50 years. Anyone remember “The Guns of Autumn” from 1975? It was an anti hunting episode full of falsehoods brought to us by Dan Rather and it was disgusting. At least they are consistent.
