(WWJ) The city of Detroit, still struggling with the coronavirus, plans to send workers door-to-door to encourage residents to get the vaccine.
The Detroit City Council has approved a $1.2 million contract with Detroit Employment Solutions to hire over 50 people. Officials will also work with nonprofits, similar to the door-to-door effort for the census.
Detroit Mayor Duggan's executive assistant, Vicki Kovari, says this is an all-out effort to battle COVID-19 in the city.
"We're hoping to get started by the end of April," she told WWJ Newsradio 950's Sandra McNeill. "And the first stage of this canvassing we will knock on every residential door in the city of Detroit; approximately 220,000 doors."
The effort comes after Mayor Duggan on Monday warned of skyrocketing COVID rates in the city.
The number of people in the hospital, he said, has tripled in two weeks; while the city's vaccination rate is just 21% — well below the statewide average.

To Democrat precinct workers, urge and compel are the same thing. The oral reasons are combined with a wrenching twist of the arm.
Just to be sure, you understand.
$1.2 million for 50 people is $24,000 per person.
220,000 homes is about $5.50 per home.
Each person will hit 4,400 homes. Say average of 6 mins. per home, so 10 in an hour. 440 hours at 7 hours a day is 63 days. $24k for a month and a half of work is pretty good.
Blacks are NOT getting the vax around here (the Detroit area). For one thing they believe it’s the Mark of the Beast. And I agree with them.
Take out 80% for overhead and administrative costs
They’re just there to hand out absentee ballots.

With how hard it is to get an appointment many are just waiting...and it might be the smartest thing they ever do.

Why is this happening? If you are under 45 the chance of dying from Covid is somewhere around .03%. The vaccine has a 4% potential failure rate - maybe up to 96% effective (but most not nearly that high).
So... take the vaccine and get Covid.
We believe we know why - fear, control, depopulation???,...
If those over 60 want to get it, that is their decision. But under 60 I don’t trust the powers that be, is this an evil agenda?
PS. It is nice that the military are giving the airmen the option as to whether they get the vaccine or not. (I know this is true on one base, is this true across the board?)
The fact that they are pressing blacks so hard does make one wonder about their Malthusian goals...
How many of these workers will sit in their car or a bar and falsify papers? Going door to door in Detroit would classify as a death penalty.

This can be subcontracted to the folks currently going door to door asking if you are interested in attending their Church......
