I thought for sure that the phrase “Karen State” was a joke.
It is not a joke. The area is sometimes spelled as
Kayin or Karen and it’s part of Myanmar (aka Burma).

There is even a Karen Religion,, derived from Buddhism.

Folks need to go to Thailand. I know it is not easy but a lot of Cambodians left when the Khmer Rouge who were bona fide Communist Thugs took over Cambodia.

These are simple tribal people. About 40% Christian. They and the resources in their lands are exploited by the military junta mostly for sale to the CCP.

Please don’t take an utterly trivial aspect of the situation in Myanmar (that Soros once met a leader there) and distort everything to fit some ridiculous narrative. Siding with the war crimes, oppression and genocide of the Tatmadaw, and the Chinese communist party and its inhuman exploitation of millions of people, just to avoid ever being on the same side of the fence as Soros is ridiculous.
