I have a question for Freepers with more knowledge than I have. Are there federal laws on the books that prohibit Government spending money on propaganda to influence the American public? Because NPR certainly fits that description.

Propaganda falls within the parameters of a free press. It is up to you to catch the stink. Not difficult.
