Let's see if the American Dictator Democrat Criminals, particularly Clinton, Obama and Biden Safely Dismount from the Crocodile after their crimes.

It appears that Obama and Clinton have already done so, which indicates that the effective use of superior power negates any crime whatsoever on this Earth.

Additionally, it allows the Dismountee to simply declare and prosecute the Crimes his political opponents are guilty of, like the January 6th Capitol Riot criminals that are being rounded up and imprisoned now, nice dismount Obama/Clinton.

If Putin follows American Democrat Strategy, he'll be a Russian six term President/Prime Minister hero dead Two Hundred years before anyone in Eastern Europe/Asia dares to whisper the word "crime" in association with his name.

It is my preference that no non-native born citizen be allowed to hold ANY federal office; Executive, congressional or judicial.

Not sure. I don't speak Russian, and have no contacts there, and Western Media misrepresent all Russian statements.

I don't even know if Russians have the concept of a "Natural Born Citizen".

I suspect that Russians have noticed how more recent immigrants to Western Nations have demanded that the host Nation bend to the Immigrants Culture and Laws instead of expressing gratitude for entry and being willing to acclimate.

Then, Russians decided that THEY would run their own Nation and made Laws that allowed them to do so.

I would consider extending that to the Federal Bureaucracies as well.

Russian law doesn't really work like English Common Law, it is very explicit. These Russian constitutional changes are the same. There is no concept of "Natural Born Citizen" and it is actually irrelevant.

The way it is worded is that anyone who has EVER held either a foreign citizenship OR a foreign residence permit (this is even stronger than the US scenario) is ineligible to the office of President of the Russian Federation.

The Russians have indeed realized (as the US founders did) that the potential of outside influence is very dangerous.

I suspected as much.

That citizenship clause would be more binding than the US Constitution.

A Republic in decay is a different creature than the government of a country with a long history of authoritarian rule.

Enough Power, effectively exercised, works the same in every form of government.

It makes the powerful heroes, writes their history of greatness, and erases anything and anyone that disagrees.

Yet national history and temperament matter greatly. Although knowing tyranny and subjugation, from ancient times to today, the Greeks have a genuine and inspiring love of freedom. So also the Poles, with a sense of national destiny in defending and fighting for the freedom of Europe. The Russians though have a tolerance for tyranny, even a taste of it. I am confident that in a pinch, Americans are more like Greeks and Poles than Russians.

The law signed by Putin limits any future president to two terms in office, but resets his term count.

It is also true that the Greeks never recovered their Empire that died with a whimper welcoming the Barbarians, never again fielded a military of any worth, never reclaimed Constantinople, excelled at bending over for the Ottomans and their successors in Turkey to this day, and and have become Europe's laziest and most unproductive Marxists.

And, of course the Poles, maybe a little better, but enough WWII poles fought for and supported the Nazis that Western Ukraine was carved out of Poland at the end of the war.

Power used effectively.

Interesting follow-up to the "Natural Born Citizen" thing.

My three children are dual-citizens (USA and Russia). My oldest was born (in the USA) only a US citizen, and acquired Russian citizenship at our request (my wife is a Russian citizen, but children born abroad of one Russian citizen parent are not automatically Russian, but there is a simplified naturalization process which can be done at an Embassy or Consultate).

My youngest two (twins) were born on Russian soil, and acquired BOTH US and Russian citizenship at their moment of birth (a single Russian citizen parent is enough for a child to be naturally Russian if born inside Russia), and children of two US citizens are US citizens no matter where they are born.

Under the newly fortified constitution, my twins can NEVER be President of Russia, even though they were Russian at their moment of birth, on Russian soil, because of their US citizenship. It seems that the constitutional amendments did indeed capture the full spirit of "Natural Born Citizen" as originally intended in the USA (citizen at birth, no conflicts).

Your history is askew. The Greeks rebelled against the Turks and won their independence in the early 19th century. And, contrary to expectations, Greece today is reforming its institutions and, based on potential oil and gas wealth and pipeline transport fees, has a chance at an era of prosperity. And Greece has an excellent air force that is a match for Turkey's declining air force.

As for Poland in WW II, there was no collaborationist Polish government, and thousands of expatriate Poles fought in the Allied cause, winning great acclaim for their bravery. Poland suffered a greater rate of loss in the war than any other country. The Poles provided Britain with the first decryption of the German Enigma code machine and the Polish underground even captured and loaded on air transport to Britain an early model of the V2. The carving out of eastern Poland was at Stalin's insistence to benefit Russia and weaken both Poland and Germany.
