Putin is a piker. The Democrat party has put in place a cheating apparatus that will keep them in power for the foreseeable future. Of course the republic won’t last long under them, but that is the point.

Good point, the Russian Legislation does not fix the Election, Fraud the Vote, Deny Lawful Oversight, or Arrest and indefinitely hold Without Bail Objectors who hold evidence of Vote Fraud like the US Democrat Law does.
He actually has to win to continue.

Dictatorship is like riding a crocodile in that there is no safe way to dismount. Putin must continue as President-for-life because his crimes do not permit him to retire from power. As age takes its toll on Putin, Russia’s government will become ever more ramshackle and an imitation of the decrepitude of the late Soviet era. Who knows, but for the US, that may be a beneficial outcome.
Strangely, I don’t think Putin is worried about our countering this by keeping Biden in office until 2036. He’d be 91, but he’d have the vigor of a much older man...
Putin’s Russia will continue to have the highest abortion rate in the world through 2036.
I think Putin needs Russians to produce and create, so he’s trying to implement policy that let’s Russians keep and command enough of what they produce for themselves to make it worth their while.
