Until science cleans up their act they are just a religion like any other cult. In reality it is the study of God’s Creation, but much of science wants to prove God doesn’t exist which is where the corruption begins.
Evolution is getting harder and harder to prove as more and more complication of the cell becomes known. How can that complexity be explained randomly? Now they are finding the oldest life is perhaps a million years old not a billion which does not give evolution time to happen.

What religion? What Faith? All of them? Just Muslims, Jews, Hindus? Presbyterians? Primitive Baptists?
Science isn’t a monolithic thing at all, no more than religion. Science is just the study of things, and that should be all.
Many scientists are employed by the corporate world (say geologists working for Exxon finding new petroleum products). Do they need to clean up their act? What act would that be? What for ever for?
The PARTISAN politicization of everything is on full throttle nowadays, but many are resisting strongly.
