Three screenshots of texts between Scott Adams, creator of Dilbert, and Jake Novak, media director of the Israeli consulate in New York City were shared with TAC. The messages were authenticated by one of the parties to them.
In the first screenshot, Novak messaged Adams last Saturday to tell him about the investigation into Gaetz. The New York Times story on the Gaetz investigation was not published until Tuesday.
In the second, Novak appears to represent himself as deeply involved in the efforts to free Bob Levinson from Iran, telling Adams “this is screwing up my efforts to free Bob Levinson.”
“Gaetz’s dad was secretly finding [sic] us,” he continues. “So I’m very much wanting this to be untrue. I’ve got a commando team leader friend of mine nervously waiting for the wire transfers to clear.”
In the third screenshot, Novak casts doubt on Gaetz’s claims that he is being extorted. “The real documents do not extort,” he writes, “And we only asked for $25 million as an estimate at first. We came way down.”

I thought Levinson died a few years ago. Or am I thinking of someone else?
Can I just ask if my POTUS (there is only one) ever defended, or endorsed Gaetz??
If so, I missed it. If he did not... why not?
He was declared dead and current efforts have been to have the remains of his body returned. I also believe there has been a sizable judgement awarded the Levinson family against Iran, as if that will ever be collected.
This was all on Trump’s watch. He was able to secure release of all US citizens being held in Iran except Levinson. The David McGee named by Gaetz has been the Levinson family attorney from the beginning and from all I have read, been a good one.

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump is tweeting his endorsement of a Florida congressman during his trip to Europe, writing that Rep. Matt Gaetz “is one of the finest and most talented people in Congress.”
Trump is backing the Republican lawmaker on Twitter at the start of his second day in Britain. The president is pointing to Gaetz’s strength on “Crime, the Border, Illegal Immigration, the 2nd Amendment” and his work on the military, veterans’ issues and the tax overhaul.
Gaetz has been a vocal supporter of Trump in Congress and called for Robert Mueller to resign from his special counsel role in the Russia investigation.
The congressman faces a contested Republican primary on August 28.
Seems like Israel is involved in way too many shady situation, sometimes for us ... sometimes not. Wish they would just stay out of the world’s drama.

That’s all Democrats need with a willing Press.
Up to now it's been all unnamed sources and lots of shady rumors. The problem is his friend Joel Greenberg. Mr. Greenberg may have real or embellished stories to tell to cut a deal. I don't know what Gaetz knew about Mr. Greenberg but this friendship may come back to bite him.
Choose your friends carefully. If they suggest any questionable activity cut off the friendship asap.
