Asked about Sen. Lindsey Graham saying Fauci should go to the border to see “the biggest super spreader event in the nation – President Joe Biden’s immigration policies.”
Fauci responded, “You know, I’ve become a symbol to them of what they don’t like about anything that has to do with things that are contrary to them, anything outside of their own realm. It’s a little bit bizarre. I have nothing to do with the border. Peter Navarro saying I created the virus? Think about that for a second. Isn’t that weird? Come on.”
Cavoto said, “I think what Lindsey Graham was saying, because of the COVID spread at the border with all of these thousands that have been crammed in there that maybe someone with your expertise should be down there to monitor how worrisome the situation is. Do you think it’s a worrisome situation? Do you think it could be a super spreader event?”
Fauci said, “I mean, obviously it’s a very difficult situation at the border. We all know that. The administration is trying as best they can to alleviate that situation. I mean, you’re having me at the border. That’s not what I do. You know what I do. I develop vaccines. I develop countermeasures. I don’t know why saying I should be at the border any more than someone who has experience in those types of things.”

What a bizarre conversation and way to twist the topic out of context. He’s not being blamed for the situation at the border materializing, but his silence has been defining when it comes to the implications of infectious diseases spreading - which we thought he was supposed to be concerned with.
Flimsey Grahamnesty and his promises of amnesty do have more to do with why we have a flood of illegal aliens than anything Fauci has done.

While I agree graham is a slug and you are right, he wants them here, at the same time, Fauci should be screaming about biden letting them into the country at all while at least 10% we know of are infected. And he wont’ say a word.

And no, Fauci is not responsible for the flood of illegals, I agree 100% with that. But he should be screaming about them getting into our country at all, especially being infected with kung flu.
Why is FauXi not down on the border administering covid-19 tests to illegals?
And what about putting them on planes and shuffling them into the general population? Is that still a border issue, and none of his concern?
If Fauci was an honest man he would be pointing to the border as a disaster unfolding, but I never thought he was an honest man.
The Bush League Republicans like Graham, Rubio, Tillis, Cornyn, Hoeven, etc. are way more responsible for why the illegal aliens are coming for the amnesty they keep dangling as bait.
He didn’t want to stop travelers from China coming in to the country, did he? Of course, the virus was seeded in Europe as well and weird not stop travelers from there coming in until it was too late. Then nursing homes were targeted.
