Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Thursday that any attempts to start a new military conflict in Ukraine’s war-torn east could end up destroying Ukraine, the TASS news agency reported.

] The comments come amid tensions after Ukraine’s commander-in-chief this week accused Moscow of building up forces near their shared border and said that pro-Russian separatists were systematically violating a ceasefire.

Bug or feature?

If by “destroy” they mean precipitate partial annexation, Russia might think of upset there as a feature.

Biden is installed, and right on schedule, the war in Ukraine ramps up again.

I remember when the super powers guaranteed Ukrainian sovereignty right after the fall of the Soviet Union, in exchange for Ukraine giving up all of its huge stockpile of nuclear weapons.

Imagine how different things would be if the Ukrainian military still had all those nuclear weapons on the edge of the Russian border? Russia would have been and would be much more careful in their dealings with Ukraine.

When Russia invaded Ukraine, all Obama would do was send MRE’s and non-weapons to the Ukrainian Army, even though the USA was committed by treaty to protect the sovereignty of the Country.

Really, despite BidenIdiot being apart of the ObamaIdiot’s weak, feckless, and underwhelming response to Russian aggression in and around Ukraine? Certainly hope you were saying or indicating such with heavy sarcasm cause this idiot #notmypresident administration is not going to do jack sh*t but acquiesce.

TASS stands for Telegraph Agency of the Soviet Union. Interesting that the name is still used.

That was after the Obama puppet launched the Maiden Color-Revolution.

Whatever the US deep state is up to in Ukraine, its not going to result in peace.

Why does Kiev keep traying to seize eastern Ukraine and Crimea? That is the question. It isn’t because they naively believe that overthrowing a government make you the natural heir to all that government had.

The answer is that their nutty pro-nazi Banderist and Svoboda kids put them into power and now you don’t need them hanging around Kiev making trouble. So they keep them far from Kiev so the same thing doesn’t happen to them.

And the US grift money isn’t bad either.

“Biden is installed, and right on schedule, the war in Ukraine ramps up again.”

And it’s starting as a result of Ukraine pressuring their east to stop being Russians, something they and their ancestors have always been.

And they’re doing it with US arms and intel equipment. And political support.

I don’t know why Russia has put up with it for this long.

Completely false.

” even though the USA was committed by treaty to protect the sovereignty of the Country.”

Kindly post a link to the treaty that the US signed committing the USA to defend Ukraine. Tell us that date this non treaty was ratified.
And for extra credit explain how a treaty with the government of Ukraine, presumably in the early 90’s (hint, there isn’t one) is still enforceable when that government fell by force to a violent coup.

There is no treaty, but in any case, treaties die with the death of one of the signatories.

Ukraine cut off water to the Crimea, and Putin is feeling pressure.

Look at WW2 map and Fourth Ukrainian front actions taken by Stalin to see the route to Kherson.

Any Russian actions in Donbass is a distraction from Putin’s real objective, land bridge to eastern bank of Dnieper river between Sea of Azoff.

The United States doesn’t owe any foreign nation their security.

It doesn’t matter how many “pieces of paper,” some fag in our State Department has negotiated.

The choice to go to war resides in the Congress of the United States.

I’m with you. And I also get tired of all these nations who want to be free, but want us to do the heavy lifting and then give them freedom as some kind of gift.

You want to be free? Train your men, build the machines, kill your enemies.
