Coca-Cola CEO Quincey: ‘Unacceptable’ Georgia Voting Law ‘Needs to Be Remedied’
Breitbart ^ | 04/01/2021 | Pam Key

Posted on 04/01/2021 9:53:56 AM PDT by ChicagoConservative27

Coca-Cola Company chairman and CEO James Quincey said Wednesday on CNBC’s “Power Lunch” that the recently passed Georgia voting law “is wrong and needs to be remedied.”

Quincey said, “Let me get crystal clear and unequivocal this legislation is unacceptable. It is a step backward. It does not promote principles we have stood for in Georgia around broad access to voting, around voter convenience, about ensuring election integrity. This is frankly just a step backward. We have spent many decades promoting within Georgia a better society and better environment for business, and this is a step backward. Our position remains the same. This legislation is wrong and needs to be remedied. We’ll continue to advocate in both private and even more clearly in public.”

They’re a huge industry, they pay a lot of taxes, and they’re based in Atlanta, which is WAY more corrupt than New York, Chicago, or Baltimore.

In order to stop this nonsense, we need to be as persistent and dedicated as the Left.

If everyone here contacted these companies/CEOs and told them how much it annoys them when they go woke, especially when the so-called facts are based on democrat talking points and partisan lies, it would a long way.

The Left is really good at these campaigns—we need to be also.

For the Georgia law, what is entirely false is the fact that enhancing election security is racist. Black people deserve election security as much as anyone. Before you call the law racist, prove to me how it stops even a single black voter from voting?

You can’t. No one can.

The law says you have to positively identify yourself. This is ubiquitous all over the country for a myriad of things. You can get an official ID for free in any state. That should end this nonsense, but it just soft racism to say black people can’t or don’t know how to get an official state ID.

He’s a fag, Jim.

(maybe that’s not woke enough for him either?)

Who is Coca Cola to decree what is, and isn’t, “acceptable”?

The man is not a Georgian or even an American. He’s an Englishman.

I think one reason the Coca Cola is so woke is that the soda industry is often targeted - for various reasons - by the left. Out in Seattle, for example, we have a special “soda tax” that is levied on soft drinks. The reasons for these attacks on soda are usually on environmental grounds - the single-use cans or bottles - or health, the high sugar content of sodas, or the issues surrounding artificial sweeteners.

Why in the H do all corporations have to chime in on politics. STFU and make the soda.

Coca-Cola CEO Quincey should talk to newspapers...

... about how profitable it is to turn your back on traditional Americans in favor of left wingers...

Or he could talk to the NFL...

Or

FOXNews...

There really IS price to pay for ‘stupid’...

I bet the woke-tard won’t put his money where his mouth is and ban the sale of Coke on State property.

I think it’s a psychological thing with some of these people. They are legitimately upset that their vote counts just as much as some poor slob.

I gave up ALL coke products years ago.

I would not drink that stomach rot if you dropped it off at my house for free.

So, presumably, this woke CEO would submit his own election as CEO to the voting system the Georgia law seeks to eliminate, right?

They already spend a fortune lobbying politicians for what they want behind the scenes. Now we have to listen to their executives preaching to us as well.

Cola acceptable behavior:
Pour cola in bucket. Immerse rusty tools. Wait 7days. Retrieve tools.
Results: A stern warning NOT to drink cola.
