No surprise which is why vaccine passports are a stupid idea and not all Covid vaccines are equal.
Ah, the vaccination scam is being exposed. What does Drs. Falsie and Scarf have to say?
By the way, because COVID is like any flu, the vaccine will likely be invalid in 12 months, as has been reported.
So, let’s keep the lockdowns, the fear, and the face diapers going!
I could be wrong, but if the vaccine is 95% effective doesn’t that mean 1 in 20 are still going to get Covid ?
âFinding evidence of vaccine breakthrough cases reminds us that, even if you have been vaccinated, you still need to wear a mask, practice socially distancing, and wash your hands to prevent spreading COVID-19 to others who have not been vaccinated,â said Shah.
*********************************************************
Bull! Sorry, but you donât need to continue doing that after being vaccinated. Just as, for most of us, we didnât need to do it prior to the vaccinations being available. And we sure as hell didnât need to close schools.
RE: if the vaccine is 95% effective doesnât that mean 1 in 20 are still going to get Covid ?
The vaccine is not a 100% guarantee against infection. However, the “promise” is that even if you do get infected, it will be either asymptomatic or mild, which means vaccinated people still need to observe all the necessary masking, social distancing, etc. protocols.
There is also the “promise” that it is a 100% guarantee that fully vaccinated folks will not die of Covid.
Do people believe that a vaccination means that you have a magic shield that prevents a virus from landing on you? Most âtestsâ either look for live virus in you, or âpartsâ of virus floating around in your system.
A vaccination acts to stimulate your RESPONSE TO A VIRUS. The virus will still get in, and it will be âdetectable.â But itâs not likely to make you sick. And the way they test for COVID in some places you would test positive if you passed by someone with the virus on the way to work.
I swear to God, writers today just regurgitate crap they read on the internet without knowing how these things work.
I recommend every stop reading these ridiculous articles. (I am not calling YOU ridiculous....but the articles.)
Supposedly a person isn’t “fully immunized” until 28 days after their last shot, but still, they shou,should, have abput 80% or so protection from getting severe covid according to the “experts”. That 80% is on top of the 99.8% survivability, 99.4% over certain age survivability, if lyou can beleive anything they are saying. So if true , then that means the .6% who would normally die if they got covid and didn’t have the vaccine, 80% of that .6% group will now only get it mildly. Supposedly
We’ll see what the actual numbers are down the road, but this is what they are claiming for now, from what I understand?
Ugh - OK the test involves shoving a Q-tip up your nose and looking for covid cells that your nose has “caught” in its membranes and snot. Y’know.. the same covid cells that float around in the air.
You’ll note from this very fine and very non-hysterical report that most of those “tested” had NO SYMPTOMS.
Duh - that’s how the flu vaccine (and vaccines in general) WORK. It doesn’t mean that you still won’t catch whatever it is you’re vaccinated against - it means that your body will already know how to defend against it and put up a better fight before the virus gains a foothold in your body.
Now if they’re vaccinated and get sick ANYWAY that’s a REAL problem.
But of course, we seem to have forgotten that Pfizer has a 95% effectiveness rate. Meaning 5% of those, fully vaccinated, will still get symptoms.
Madness.
Sheer and utter madness and insanity.
RE: Do people believe that a vaccination means that you have a magic shield that prevents a virus from landing on you?
Let’s put it this way — most people believe that vaccines protect you from contracting the disease for which it was developed for ( e.g. small pox, polio, etc. ).
If it doesn’t do the job of protecting, then we need another term, but NOT the word - vaccine because it isn’t.
What are they testing positive for? COVID-19 or a unknown virus in their body?
RE: Meaning 5% of those, fully vaccinated, will still get symptoms.
But NOT get sick or die <-— That’s what everyone needs to understand.
âDOH is investigating two potential vaccine breakthrough cases where the patients died.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There goes that promise.
Then we should add two hours of basic immune system education to the curriculum. People think that any vaccine creates a seal coat around you.
As the woman on the commercial said, âThatâs not how any of this works!â
RE: Meaning 5% of those, fully vaccinated, will still get symptoms.
Can they (the vaccinated who get the symptoms) transmit the virus to the unvaccinated?
Not necessarily.
Depends on if they are already immune.
Theoretically, 1:20 might possibly be susceptible to COVID if the *vaccine* didn't take, but that doesn't guarantee them catching it.
Having symptoms = sick.
95% âeffectiveâ means just that.
