Jamie Dimon, chief executive of JPMorgan Chase & Co. JPM, -1.42%, on Tuesday expressed his support for voting rights, days after Georgia approved a new law that restricts access to voting.
In a statement to CNN that did not specifically mention Georgia, Dimon said his bank’s “employees span the United States, and as state capitals debate election laws, we believe voting must be accessible and equitable. We regularly encourage our employees to exercise their fundamental right to vote, and we stand against efforts that may prevent them from being able to do so.”
Dimon added that “Voting is fundamental to the health and future of our democracy. We are a stronger country when every citizen has a voice and a vote.”

Ask if they require ID before setting up a new account.
They want the illegal alien vote.
That’s why the consternation over this bill.
Do these corporate fools realize that the commies will put them all up against the wall regardless of what they say?
Oh look. Another big wig corporate type with a lack of knowledge or trace of comprehension skills. Do the share holders agree? Sadly, likely.
Exactly. Their website and branches are very strict about security and ID.
Note that the far left Red Diaper Baby Dimon is not hesitant about spewing his views.
Heard any so-called “conservative” ceo’s commenting on their support for elections that aren’t stolen by laughing looters?
Nope. Only Don Trump. The rest are sniveling cowards, hiding in a corner.
Well there’s hope they’ll go last. Fookin’ idjits! 😲
I have not read the Georgian voting law.
But I would love to know what is “restrictive “ or “racist “ or “unfair “ .
Assuming that all details, such as voter ID are applied to all equally, there is no constitutional violation.
Assuming early voting is applied equally to all, there is no violation.
Ditto for how absentee ballots are handled.
Etc.
The main complaint i heard is liberals saying you can’t have bottled water waiting in line to vote, the implication being that people will pass out from dehydration.
I am hearing complaints tha
Computers should not have the right to vote. Dominion software got computers to vote thousands of times. Take away the right of commuters to vote.
In other words...”I might need a bailout in the future”.
Their employees are required not only to show their ID to get in the building, but they have to wear it all day long.
I am hearing complaints that there are fewer polling places in black neighborhoods. That I’m sure is a subjective judgement.
Georgia didn’t even limit access to vote by mail. They should have like Wisconsin and other states have on the books.
This is all about Oligarch power. Thee end.
I noticed that the woke crowd uses words like “accessible” and “equitable” but they do NOT use words like “citizen” and “legal”.
One of the points in my next “contract” with the voters: eliminate corporate welfare.
Jamie Dimon: black people and maybe many Hispanics are too ignorant to be able to find their polling booth or put their government ID numbers on an envelope.
“We are a stronger country when every citizen has a voice and a vote.”
Stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid.
We are a stronger country when we don’t even advise the stupid, the ignorant, and the lazy of upcoming elections.
This idiot is the (doubtless affirmative-action) chief executive of a large company, and thinks the vote of a drug-addicted prostitute with a third-grade education and an IQ of 70 is as good for the country as his own.
And speaking of stupid, these measures the demonrats are demanding disproportionately help the stupid to vote. I’d bet Thomas Sowell has never had a problem with figuring out how to vote.
This is a tacit admission by the demonrats that stupid people vote demonrat.
Yes, all the ineligible people such as illegals and dead people must allowed to vote ..multiple times.
It doesn’t say that you personally can’t have bottled water to prevent dehydration or a snack bar for your blood sugar. It only says you can’t give bottled water or food to people in line or near the polling place. And just a few paragraphs later it even specifically says that the local election officials can set up a drinking station where people in line can go and get a drink of water, so the dehydration excuse is total BS. What they don’t want is a situation where people are encouraged to go vote and given freebies by Democrats while they wait.
