No, the dogwoods aren’t putting out the amounts of pollen we have. They’re just barely open right now.
They showed a short video clip on the Nashville news the other night of a wooded area somewhere - I didn’t catch where. It looked like there was a fire going on but they said it wasn’t smoke. It was clouds of pollen. UGH!
The three freezing nights ahead will slow things down but it’ll crank up again when it warms back up this weekend and beyond.
Just part of living in this part of the country.
It’s so nice seeing green and other colors again, I don’t care! LOL

Yuk! The only time I ever saw pollen that bad was when we visited the daughter of a fellow church member who lived south of here and who had fields of bluebonnets surrounding their country home. I didn’t know those beautiful flowers could put out so much pollen. My red car was yellow. LOL!
I totally understand the concept. It’s hard to breathe with that much crud in the air. But I sure got some pretty pictures. I hope this phase of spring passes quickly for you and you can enjoy the green.
I haven’t heard the wind blowing, but it has gone from 73 to 52 in just the time we’ve been doing this thread. I’m surprised. LOL!

Yeah, some stuff puts out tons of pollen. I haven’t seen any big clouds of it here yet but do see the nasty stuff piled up on everything outside.
Things are just getting started here so it’ll be a while before we get a break. But it’s getting so pretty outside that I’ll grin and bear it. LOL
Your temp is dropping quick. It’s still fairly nice here at 64. But is it ever raining! There are already 5 counties under a flash flood warning. We’re under a flash flood watch at this point and have a lot of water around the yard and slam-full ditches. No wind and no lightning tonight.
