I was just thinking about him the other day. Sad that he’s gone.
bttt
From a time when men were men.
Second only to Wilt Chamberlain in libido, by his own descriptions.
I think some of the things these guys got involved in, were
wrong. Whether or not, compared to the Left these days, it
is clear to me that those things paled in comparison to things
that happened under Clinton, Obama, and now Biden. And that’s
not to mention the things done by the Left under Trump.
Nixon was never about overturning the U. S. Constitution lock
stock and barrel. Obama and Biden are dedicated to that very
thing.
So I wind up having a great deal of respect for Liddy. I’d
also state I developed a bit of respect for Jim McDougal on
the other side of things.
Wouldn’t compare him to Liddy. Just saying...
Ditto...always a potent performance.
RIP
I seem to remember him saying “Mrs. Liddy has an extensive collection of firearms” on occasion.
Loved his radio show. He was the epitome of an alpha male.
Just about to say the same thing.
Godspeed Mr Liddy.
RIP
Sorry to hear. I used to enjoy his radio program.
I thought he had died after his radio show ended.
I wonder what his opinion on this last year was...
It would be nice if he left some juicy stuff to be published after his passing. Death cancels marriage vows, so maybe he could consider the same with his pledges.
G was a friend for many years. He would extend himself and reach right into a problem you were having, in order to stand by you - ready to lend support.
On occasion, he would have Walter E. Williams, Jr. as a guest, and a at least a couple times as a guest host. Funny man.
For a long time, John Popp was the “Brutal Stalinist Producer.” Radio Free DC out of WJFK, Fairfax, VA.
G and I had similar stomping grounds, being Phoughkeepsie, NY and Route 9.
G had a strong analytical mind, and his method was of the old school, when studying a problem; he was a detective and gentleman at the same time.
RR
Sad news. I used to enjoy his show.
He was one of the successful syndicated conservative hosts in the 1990s after Limbaugh started the syndicated conservative radio movement. He wasn’t that popular anymore by the early 2000s.
