EXCLUSIVE: Kelly Tshibaka, Alaska's Commissioner of Administration, is expected to announce a Republican primary challenge to incumbent Sen. Lisa Murkowski in the 2022 midterms, Fox News has learned. Tshibaka, who is set to announce her candidacy Monday, describes herself as a candidate to represent "a new generation of Alaska conservatives" and says she'll portray herself as the candidate to rebuild the Alaskan economy, defend and rejuvinate small businesses and fight to protect the jobs of Alaskans in the energy industry. Tshibaka will also campaign as a strong opponent to illegal immigration, a staunch defender of the Second Amendment and an advocate for the military. Her campaign also called her "unapologetically pro-life." "We know what Washington, D.C. thinks about Alaska: We’re here for their benefit, and we won’t put up much of a fight. After nearly 20 years in D.C., Lisa Murkowski thinks the same way," Tshibaka says in a video being released by her campaign Monday. "But you know what? Nothing scares the D.C. political insiders more than the thought of a strong, independent Alaskan leader in their ranks. One they can’t bully. One they can't control. One they can't silence."

Lisa will just run as an independent again and win because all the Democrats will vote for her.
Murkowski is one of the two (?) Senators in history, who won a write in campaign and her name is not easy to spell.
Who knows if she will again. If they want to cannibalize the Democrat’s chances by writing Murkowski in again, so be it.
Would it work for the voters to choose between Michelle Obama and Kelly?
It would be Chewbacca versus Tshibaka.
I agree with you. How is her standing with the Native American community.
I don’t know anything about Alaskan politics, so I really have no idea.
‘I have personally worked with her in the DC area, and I can say she is an OUTSTANDING person.’
Her work is in D.C?
Nobody’s heard of her. Why does she have to start at the top? Can’t she run for the gummer’s house seat we already have? This just goes on too much in our party.
“ Lisa will just run as an independent again and win because all the Democrats will vote for her.”

Yeh, you’re right. Her old man built and owned Alaska’s political machine and Lisa has picked up where he left off.
I don’t know what your timetable is but Murkowski needs to be replaced next year. Kelly is a rock ribbed conservative and is stepping up to help, so what’s the problem again here?
Strom Thurmand?
I thought Sarah was going to run.
Ya know, I met Palin across the tracks in Wasilla before she ever ran for anything; and she stood out back then. I remember once out in front of Carrs Palin hollered at me from 30 yards away even remembered my name. She was coming out, I was going into store. I run into Palin out hunting, saw her mud boggin on 4 wheeler on her way to Indian village; mud head to toe.
Never seen nor heard of that Kelly Lady. Maybe she needs to be out and about more in Alaska than back east with the D.C Crooks. Sorry if I'm wrong about her; you just learn a little up here in AK.
You sure got that right.
What’s the problem? I’ve already written it.
Nobody’s heard of her. Why does she have to start at the top? Can’t she run for the gummer’s house seat we already have? This just goes on too much in our party. Then there’s:
“ Lisa will just run as an independent again and win because all the Democrats will vote for her.” Then there’s this:
I thought Sarah was going to run.
If she can catch lightening in a bottle fine. Just not counting on it. We have to go with our big guns and until it happens I will be a naysayer. It’s up to you and her to prove me wrong. At least Cruz and a few others came around to Trump once they were convinced. Remember it’s Trump that did the work.
I’m thinking of taking up boxing. Doesn’t mean I’m gonna go up against Mike Tyson.
Murkowski must lose.
Has she promised the Indians all kinds of funding for villages?
