Mo Brooks Opposes ‘Absurd, Ridiculous’ Transgender Invasion of Student Athletics

Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL) expressed his firm opposition to the transgender invasion of student athletics during a recent appearance on Big League Politics Live.

“Moral values are an appreciation of life, whether it be appreciation for life at the time of conception and protection of the unborn or any number of other things,” said Brooks, who recently announced his run for U.S. Senate.

“Now, I’m going to focus on for a moment the confusion the socialists seem to have about whether a man is a man and a woman is a woman. That is absurd,” he added.

Brooks elaborated that he does not support the idea of transgenderism in general and thinks the notion of an individual changing their birth sex is an affront to God and science.

“It is one thing to allow a man to pretend to be a woman to compete against women in college athletics, denying women playing time and scholarships. It’s quite another thing for the socialist Democrats to demand that we swallow the ridiculous position that a man can pretend to be a woman and hence is a woman,” he said.

“That is absurd, and I reject the idea of the socialist Democrats that they have the right to compel the rest of America to concur with that absurdity particularly when what the socialist Democrats are doing is total science denial,” Brooks added.

Brooks is a hardliner on the issue of protecting Christian values unlike other members of the Republican Party these days.

I'd quite like to see Brooks win the Senate seat.

Is he solid? I don't know many other politicians there and usually you end up with a RINO so Rep. Brooks might be the best choice in this race.

From what I’ve seen of Mo Brooks, I’d walk over broken glass to vote for him.

He is a solid conservative. I voted for Mo in the 2017 Senate primaries but he was trounced by Roy Moore and Luther Strange. He needs more name recognition. We shall see how he does this time.

It’s only the latest domino in the knock-down game.

It leads to Absurdistan.

Welcome.

Why would spectators not boo and ridicule the trannys off the field?
Are they afraid of being called names?
