Actually, if they painted his windshield, he might not have been able to see to drive away. However, the Oregon authorities will not see it that way.
And yes, if you are carrying a pistol for immediate self defense, you need to carry it with one in the chamber so it is ready for immediate action the second it clears your holster. You may have to shoot someone off you, and begging them to give you time and your other hand free to rack the slide isn’t going to work well.
Yep. If you are afraid to carry with one in the chamber you need more range time.
And yes, if you are carrying a pistol for immediate self defense, you need to carry it with one in the chamber so it is ready for immediate action the second it clears your holster .... Absolutely!!!
On a side note, people need to come to terms that Portland is a “failed state”. Let ANTIFA/BLM have it. Anyone that goes there for any reason like this is going there looking to fight, get arrested, or get killed(potentially). If that’s your thing, then have it. But don’t expect me to feel sorry for you when you get out of your truck with a Beretta and end up with some flex cuffs on you.
Everything about that city is completely antithetical to everything sane people think and stand for. Same can be said for the state. But anyone who goes there is looking for trouble.
Call me whatever you want. Don’t care. You want to go to Portland to take them on, then rally your squad and go through there like Ragnar Lothbrock and deal with the consequences. If you’re not willing to do that then let the city rot and die.
Agreed, the old cowboy adage of not carrying a round in the chamber was smart back then since a dropped gun with a hammer/firing pin could easily result in a discharge.
With a quality modern weapon today and the new safety advances in modern weapons, not the case.....
Not advocating dropping your loaded weapon to test it. Well, only if you YouTube it so we can judge you for the 2021 Darwin Awards....
