Reporters showed up at the Mieraskerk church in the town of Krimpen aan den Ijssel near the city of Rotterdam.
The church made headlines after reports that it was going ahead with a service for its entire congregation. The Netherlands is under a strict lockdown and has a rising COVID-19 rate.
The journalist Jacco van Giessen shared a video of the incident on Twitter, writing that "the pain has gone but I am still shocked — I was attacked during my work this morning by a churchgoer in Krimpen."

Worshippers at the Sion church in the town of Urk, northeast of Amsterdam, also reportedly attacked journalists at a service that took place without observing any protective measures.

Great for the church goers! The information warfare specialist was in fact doing his job by attacking the church goers. They have a right to attack that soldier back.

maybe there is hope after all! I am all for smacking down some journalists, some corrupt politicians, etc. Well THAT list would be really long - oops, almost forgot those stinking governors in the blue states!~

When attacking “journalists” all rules and regulations should be suspended for the duration.
Charge the propagandists with their hate crime for interfering with a religious observance.
He claimed that he was attacked while doing his work? What a liar. He was interrupting them.
I was able to attend church yesterday for the first time in quite a while. I was surprised to see very few masks.
It gave me hope that even law and order Christians have had enough.
