Trumps largest failures from the start - some of the people he chose. Too trusting and not enough research.
But you risk lowering your IQ if you truly want to blame Trump.
“Trumps largest failures from the start - some of the people he chose. Too trusting and not enough research.”
Remember who was in charge of the creating the initial list of people for administration positions during the transition period: Chris Christie. He got fired for stuffing his own cronies into every position but you know damned well that some of the bad apples Trump ended up with had Christie’s fingerprints on them. His and Reince Preibus’ fingerprints.
“some of the people he chose”
Some? Did he hire *anyone* who didn’t stab him in the back? Is there no one amongst the aristocracy who is normal and honorable?
Who was advising him on those hires?
Anyone here (except the trolls) would have been a better pick for any of those jobs. We certainly couldn’t have done worse.
My guess is he initially trusted his advisors on key personnel selection...maybe even some family advisors?
Walking into the job as a non politician, I can imagine the pressure on Trump to agree with the suggestions of those "career Washington insiders" who insisted on key personnel.
I'll bet, leaving it to Trump's instincts, he would never have picked many of these dufus dorks on his own.
Trumps largest failures from the start - some of the people he chose. Too trusting and not enough research.
This more than anything
How sad that such a great man who is really so brilliant should be let down by idiots
