Gov. Tim Walz on Friday announced the state’s biggest expansion of vaccine eligibility. Starting Tuesday, Minnesotans ages 16 and up will be allowed to start scheduling appointments, which could be weeks out.
But as more people get vaccines, there is more to know about their side effects. Dr. Kevin Best, a family physician at Allina Health, says the COVID-19 vaccines are new, but the concept of inoculation has been around for centuries.
“By nature, the fact that this is a new issue and a new virus, there's no way to have long-term studies about it," Best said. "But we do have information about lots of other vaccinations that have happened in the past. There are some new technology in the vaccine, but at the end of the day, they stimulate your immune system to build antibodies, and that's a mechanism that's been used for hundreds of years."
It's still too early to know the long-term side effects, but Best says enough people have already received the shot and there have not been any widespread reports of any consistent trends for severe side effects.

I’m not saying don’t get the vaccine. I’ve just become very wary of all of the new “experts” weighing in with blanket statements.
I’m thinking, the virus will die off naturally just as all SARs/Influenza virus do. Millions get vaccinated, hundreds of thousands contracted China virus and built immunities. Think i’ll wait for awhile to see if anything strange begins to occur. If it proves safe...ok

Same subjecting, with the experimental “vaxes”......so, yes....PLEASE people, DO weigh all of the possibilities VERY carefully.
Also....majority of those who have Covid recover with mild to no long term effects....except immunity.
We have friends who had it a year ago....are fine, now....and are STILL pumping out antibodies, today.

Yep. And they’ve been out less than six months. The 84% is actually 69%, covid vaccines account for 69% of the vaccine deaths reports on VAERS.

Well, that’s not much to the point LOL!
mRNA vaccines have only been used, experimentally, for 5+ years.
That’s ‘some’ background. I’d like more. But hardly comparable to the centuries of evidence we have for inoculation.
I think mRNA tech will be very successful on this virus. I wonder though about it’s use in the future- but every scientific advance has the question of how it will be used.
They just want to be free....get back to normal....not wear a mask....travel....
Only.....they can’t do any of that.....without the exact same mandates, as PRE-experimental jab.
