You said what I have thought of. Several heavy duty Caterpillars on tracks and on land with heavy cable hitched at the right place should be able to point this vessel in the right direction. Well so much for the thought.....At least I wasn’t the only one who thought of it.

Run the port side bow anchor ashore about 500 feet at about 300 degrees off the fore/aft line of the ship and set it. Have the freighter use her deck winch help winch herself off.

You are talking 220000 tons buried 40-50 feet on one end and 20-30 feet on the other.
So far, 8 6-8000 HP tugs can’t budge it, and some CAT earth movers can?
