I don’t subscribe to ANY of this voodoo hysteria. it’s all about control. Our freedoms are slowly but surely being eliminated by government induced fear. Not for me. I wonder how many have ordered masks from Amazon with automatic shipment renewal every month.

We may never know for sure if lockdowns did not reduce CV19 deaths.
After all, lockdowns were originally intended to “flatten the curve” so that medical services wouldn’t be overwhelmed with CV19 victims, possibly more people dying from that disease as a consequence.

California locked down early and hard. Yet they had 60,000 COVID-19 deaths. In other words, you can’t really stop a virus until you develop a vaccine.
One of the Bloomberg pundits is pontificating that pandemic responses (masking, “social distancing”, and frequent vaccine “boosters”) may become PERMANENT.

Quite correct! Sweden never did close school in-class attendance for 9th graders and younger students. Not only did those schools remain open but they did so without those STUPID MASK REQUIREMENTS for either students or teachers.
On the other hand, there is plenty of evidence that lockdowns increase Democrat party control of elections and people.
Flu shots is something I take every year. So if I take covid shots yearly, that is okay. But everything else needs to go.

Many lockdowns were issued by politicians who were not communist dictators. They issued those lockdowns because they felt they had to be seen “doing something” to stem the virus. Same for masking mandates. In addition, many, many people were demanding these politicians “do something”.
I do agree they did more harm than good but I do understand the pressure these politicians were under.

yep, exactly; many people demanded that, because they are too stupid and lazy to figure out how to provide for their own safety...

when I see the glow on Gretchen Whitmer’s face when she announces another restriction, or the snarky smirk Tom Wolf adopts for his press conferences, I am certain the ‘pressure’ was welcomed with eyes and arms wide open...
