Some well respected men mentioned in the Bible were pretty old, when they had kids. Having kids as an old man is quite an accomplishment, really, with all that goes with having kids. ;)

seriously, it takes little effort for a man to "have kids".....its the female that has to carry the bundle and all the bodily changes that entails....
