Good points there.

For a collegiate athlete it's a different story. If I'm a female competitor on a track scholarship then I don't care if I get my ass kicked by a man every time I race. I'd look at it as if I'm training a few hours a week and losing races consistently as part of a job that basically pays me $20,000 to $60,000 per year by covering my college expenses.

Heck -- I'm not even sure I'd bother with the "training" part anymore. LOL.
