You are correct. But as time passes, people’s memories fade and things return to as same as before. To Illustrate: Many people were, to say the least, dissatisfied with the Republican Party during the 2020 election. Instead of forming a new Party that saw things from their point of view, they were persuaded to keep the old Republicans with their policies in power. Their policies: Surrender to the Democrat Party at each opportunity. Nothing has or will change. Believe it or not. As long as there is a South Carolina, Lindsey Graham will be in the Senate. e) show US history’s usual visuals of troops and razor wire topped fences surrounding and protecting them and their newly taken territory, from ...
f or c) those evil enemies of democracy: Trump voters!
Thus, they are totally justified, obviously, to do all they did and must do, because: “It’s a crisis!”
Replay DC riot footage over and over again, rinse and repeat as often as necessary, until accepted.

Silly McConnell. The Dems read that they have 50%+1 in both houses, plus the Presidency - and might get voted out in 2 years. That demands they stack as much as they possibly can as fast as they can, and make it difficult to overturn.
