Rush Limbaugh's syndicated radio talk show will go on with a series of guest hosts airing archived episodes following the conservative host's death earlier this year.
Premiere Networks told USA Today on Tuesday that it would continue a practice that began during Limbaugh's absences for cancer treatments, in which guest hosts introduce listeners to various clips of Limbaugh opining on the issues of the day.
“No one can replace Rush Limbaugh, and Premiere Networks will continue to provide millions of loyal listeners with the voice of Rush for the long term,” said a spokeswoman.

My question...when is the Rush Memorial? ???
Bongino is doing it on about 100 Cumulus
stations. Not the same as iHeart whose
Premiere syndication arm distributes
Rush
I never heard of or listened to bongino until cpac 2021. iirc he did a bit more swearing and exhibited more anger than Rush’s audience would be used to.
I Tried to listen but—I can’t listen to dead Limbaugh. It makes me sad. We must move on—Maybe Dan Bondingo or someone else.
Bongino and Rush have been all I listen to for about a year. Rush was good talking about media bias, but Bongino has a brutal way of making clown/fools out of MSM reporters.
Bongino has a gifted way of sarcastically quoting knowingly lying MSM reporters, that will have the audience rolling with laughter. He will ridicule and make a laughing stock out of any reporter he targets. Once you hear Bongino spend 30 minutes sarcastically deriding/ridiculing a reporter, the next time you see/hear him/her you can’t help but laugh at them. No one likes ridicule (to quote Rush).
I prefer Crowder now, especially with Dave Landau there. I think it’s the closest in spirit to Rush, especially if you watched Rush’s TV Show.
Rush can never be replaced, but if this is it just pushing along to keep the money rolling in then it's almost as bad as what 'doctor' Jill has and is doing with Joe.

Just start over at tbe beginning with ‘The Rush Oldies Show’. It would be interesting to hear it all over again. Seriously, playing the first year or two of shows might be really interesting as that was when he was building listeners.
All too true. Even Rush’s digressions from politics were thoughtful and entertaining, usually with an Everyman take on things.
Of course not.
Paul Harvey passed on and that is the end of it.
Rush has passed on and that is the end of it.
It will remind people that this world dies.
Did I love these people? Yes.
I agree; makes me too sad as well taking in snippets from the past.
For those who still want to hear Rush’s voice, they should subscribe to his podcasts on his website. They are all archived.
It is time to move on, and I think Rush would agree. It was never about himself, right?
I wish Jesse Waters would take that EIB time slot. Rush always spoke highly of him, and that he had a great future.
The early shows would be fun, I must admit.
And yet... Here you are! The same spirit that animates Trump and Rush is alive, and will be forever. God bless you.
Bottom line: Rush had a huge contract that still needs to be fulfilled to that Kathryn can keep receiving checks. When the contract runs out (or reaches an option point), so will the show.
If they keep it the same for the new deal, that will mean 4 years of guide hosts introing clips? We shall see. The deal was signed before it was known he had advanced lung cancer.
I was just discussing this very issue with a friend today. I told her that I was tired of the perpetual dirge going on with Rush’s former radio spot. I am tired of hearing the voice of a man I know to be dead over and over again. I thought Dan Bongino was taking over Rush’s former spot—is that not true?
The other day I was archiving and organizing my Rush podcasts, and happened to start listening to August 2007. I am now listening to them in order, and, no surprise, the timeless subjects are, well, timeless. And, this is before Obambi takes over the democRATS campaign, so Billary is the ‘supposed’ frontrunner. As August 2007 turns into September 2007, it just gets more and more interesting.
I prefer listening to an old show on my time. I don’t like how the guide hosts push us to remember Rush every 5 minutes like he is talking in the present. “I have great news” Rush is going to set us straight, I can’t wait to hear what Rush says next, here’s what Rush says, Rush back after this. It’s every 5 minutes. Enough already.
