Rush Limbaugh's syndicated radio talk show will go on with a series of guest hosts airing archived episodes following the conservative host's death earlier this year.
Premiere Networks told USA Today on Tuesday that it would continue a practice that began during Limbaugh's absences for cancer treatments, in which guest hosts introduce listeners to various clips of Limbaugh opining on the issues of the day.
“No one can replace Rush Limbaugh, and Premiere Networks will continue to provide millions of loyal listeners with the voice of Rush for the long term,” said a spokeswoman.

I listened to Rush faithfully for 29 years, and though I enjoy hearing clips from the past, it’s time to move on. Rush would not want a continuing tribute show to him.
There is no replacing Rush.
There will be void in this time slot.
Dan was given Rush’s three hour time slot on some radio stations for his show, not take over the Rush Limbaugh Show.
Good call, if you ever listened to Herman's M-F morning talk show out of Seattle, you soon learn he's a huge egotist and loves talking about himself and patting himself on the back.
His ego came out several times while he was filling in for Rush, real cringe-worthy.
Can't stand him either.
Bongino will be doing a show in the same time slot,
not working for EIB.
I’d like to hear a couple months of “Bests Of” starting back to the first week he was syndicated.
Bet 30 years ago ago he was sounding the warnings about what is happening today. Would like to be reminded.
I think the real Rush Limbaugh fans cannot take this anymore. We want one host and to get off so many clips. If you do use a clip, it should be used very sparingly. It’s awful hearing the guide host act like Rush is still alive and say he cannot wait to hear what Rush has to say on this and then Rush gives a monologue. Maybe some casual fan turns it on mid-monologue and thinks it’s really Rush is still listening.
I’m about as REAL as real can get being a Rush Limbaugh fan for over 30 years. I get comfort in hearing his voice so don’t deprive me of this. I prefer Todd Herman for replacement and I like Ken Matthews too but I’m not ready to not hear Rush’s voice and may not ever be ready to say goodbye totally.......if ever
Bongino is taking over only some of them starting in May. Most stations are taking a wait and see approach.
Mistake.
ML/NJ (Loyal Listener)
In the aftermath of the Stolen Election of 2020, I started listening to Steve Bannon’s War Room. Steve is a tireless fighter for Trump and has the same contempt for RINOs that I do.
I remember when WLS was Rock and Roll and Larry Lujack was the best radio guy eveeeerrrr!!!! LOL!
It’s bittersweet to tune in to the show and hear a clip of Rush talking like he is still with us. Still have that sadness when hearing his voice, recognizing that such a great man is gone.
That being said, I wish we could audition up and coming “replacements “ (Rush could never be replaced). Kind of like what they are doing for Jeopardy. (Love Ken Jennings on that show).
Called it (broken clock) last week that the guest host / archived Rush segments could work.
If you listened to Rush’s show, he played so many clips of CNN and MSNBC that I would turn him off. I haven’t listened in a month, but I don’t mind hearing clips of him.
Rush Limbaugh's radio syndicators say they plan to keep his voice alive. Premiere Networks says Limbaugh's show will continue with its present format, with guest hosts introducing archived clips of the late broadcaster talking on various issues. https://t.co/itMsN0ihId— The Associated Press (@AP) March 23, 2021
Through the end of the year at least...
We’re gonna stay on top of all the current topics like we did yesterday, like we’ll do today, like we’ll do the rest of the week and into the future right through the end of the year. We are going to revisit Rush’s wisdom while at the same time talking about the news of the day, while at the same time taking your calls, while at the same time taking Rush’s wisdom, say, on sanctuary cities and applying it today.
These are the valuable insights, the forward-thinking aspects of El Rushbo that we’re going to tap into while we cover the issues of the day. We’ll be doing this right here on the Rush Limbaugh program for a long time to come. We want you to join us every day at the same Rush time, at the same Rush hour, at the same Rush station to hear our conversation, to take your calls, and to hear Rush’s words of wisdom.
I just want to set the record straight on that because there’s been a lot of misinformation out there, and we’re gonna be here guiding you...

This is one of those they need to find the talent to either replace Excellence In Broadcasting or a way to break up the stations.
There are a lot of Conservative businesses who still sponsor Rush’s show, its probably a huge question if they would continue with some other host.
However, changing up hosts in a rotation doesn’t help them transition if they wanted to put a new person behind the EIB Microphone.
With Trump gone and Rush gone I have lost interest in politics. I am not even keeping up with the news.
________
It’s quite sad and pathetic, really, to hear the sub hosts intro an old clip with “AS RUSH TAUGHT US...”.
They have all become talking head pundits, explaining what we already heard as if we were morons. Exactly why i don’t watch “NEWS” shows.
Mark Steyn was good, in his own way, and could have pulled it off. But Steyn clearly telegraphed that he was not going to be in the chair longer, nor forever. And given the direction apparent, i don’t blame him.
The EIB network, Rush’s show , and his legacy will fade from memory the way the radio show is planned ahead now. Too late, someone else will have to grab the brass riing.
Bannon’s been calling out the CCP big time lately. GOOD!
I agree. There is no replacing him. Nobody else is worth listening to with that many commercials. I tolerated them to listen to Rush this past year, but can’t imagine bothering for any other host.
