President Trump will have vastly more resources (human and technical), and vastly more power and vastly more money and vastly more business experience than Facebook and Twitter did when they first started.

He won't have more resources. Watch how this will work - he will have trouble finding existing software firms who will contract to do this work for him. This should be obvious. If he sets up his own company, it will take him at least a year simply to staff the company and get the beginnings of projects set up - and that's assuming he's able to attract enough talent in the first place.

Twitter and Facebook operated in spaces which were formed by them - there were no existing social media monopolies or cloud infrastructure monopolies when they started. Any company which tries to operate in the social media space now will face hostile monopolies, as Parler learned. And any company backed by Trump will face far more hostility than Parler ever did.

Of course he will.
Even at his worst, President Trump is still worth $3 Billion. How much were Zuckerberg and Dorsey worth when they decided to start Facebook or Twitter?

You really get off spewing out garbage of the worst kind wiyhout even thinking about it don't ya?
The beauty of it is, know you are talking nonsense yet you keep billowing out smoke anyways.
Whwt makes you think the 75 million Patriots who voted for President Trump on November don't have hundreds of thousand of programmers who can't wait to make every contribution they can to President Trump's social media network?
Even right here on FR alone we have excellent programmers who will be only too happy to help President hit back at Big Tech and the Dems if it comes to that.

Not only are you totally ignorant, you don't even know the history of social media.
For your information, MySpace existed before Facebook was even founded. Not only that, MySpace was very big and successful before Facebook later bloomed.
And there were plenty of other big social media outfits before Facebook and Twitter too.
Next you ardgpkng to tell us that Google invented internet search.
Are you like 5 years old?

There you go again with your far left hyperbole.
Is Parler back in business? YES.
Is Gab doing more business than ever despite a brutal sustained attack from far left Big Tech, The Dems ,The Biden regime etc? YUP.
If these jokers can't even stop Gab ,what makes you think they can stop President Trump?
