Twitter and Facebook operated in spaces which were formed by them - there were no existing social media monopolies or cloud infrastructure monopolies when they started.

For your information, MySpace existed before Facebook was even founded. Not only that, MySpace was very big and successful before Facebook later bloomed.
And there were plenty of other big social media outfits before Facebook and Twitter too.

Look, I've tried being nice to someone who obviously does not know what he's babbling about, but my patience has limits. Look in a dictionary for the word "monopoly". Learn it. And then try to understand just how stupid you sound trying to compare MySpace to Facebook.
