Sorry about the link. I used to be able to post pictures on FR. No longer. I know a little html. It no longer works here. Either the procedure has changed or FR blocked me from using it.

Having a couple of books nobody reads pulled is great advertising for the rest of the catalog. It’s like when a musician dies, their catalog suddenly sells like mad.

This, unfortunately, is the price we all must pay for dunking these kid’s heads into the toilet when we were in high school.

I was given a Target gift card and went online this morninng to look for children’s books. I was shocked to see Dr. Suess was the first thing that popped up. I would have thought a store as “woke” as Target would have pulled the books.

I bought a used copy of this out of print gem. It is not yet officially verboten, but I'm sure that's coming.
I still need to dig around to see how many of the banned ones we have. At least a couple I expect.

None of those best-selling book were among those that the Seuss/Geisel estate plans to stop publishing.

Bought by people who think they’re next to be banned. They may be right.

They cancelled your feelings
They cancelled your thoughts
They cancelled the Dr. Seuss
Books you bought
We'll cancel your culture
And history they said
They even cancelled
Poor Mr. Potato Head
They'll cancel your clothes
And the shoes that you wear
They'll cancel your opinions
And the style of your hair
You warriors of justice
I ask you to please
Stop trying to cancel
The air that I breathe
For I live in America
The Land of the Free
And one thing is certain
You won't cancel me!
