I don’t wear a mask in my NE Florida Publix, ever.
I am in Florida and where we are and everywhere we have traveled within the State, damn near EVERYONE is wearing masks. The businesses and retailers are ALL demanding masks for entry. I LOVE my Governor for his very smart decisions. Florida is THE best run state bar none.
Actually DeSantis has done an amazing job getting people vaccinated starting with the elderly. He announced Friday that as if a week from Monday anyone over 50 can get vaccinated. The state of Florida is doing an amazing job and this is one of the reasons our numbers are flattened. Because Of his vaccination policy.
It is the reason we are approaching herd immunity.

DeSantis can lead this, but governors and their attorneys general need to get out in front preemptively, and declare,
“We will not permit planeloads of illegal aliens to be dumped in our states because the Biden administration intentionally created a massive illegal alien tsunami. Planes will be stopped even if runways have to be blocked. I will call out the state guard or even the militia if this is what it takes to prevent this hostile human invasion. Ditto bus loads of illegal aliens at our state borders. We will physically stop them. If the federal government wants to invade my state with tens of thousands of illegal aliens intended to be future Democrat Party welfare voters, they will have to use naked force to accomplish it.”
Every red state governor should follow suit, BEFORE the planeloads begin to land and offload. We need to stop responding to their cynical, lying “humanitarian heartstrings” Trojan Horse camouflage strategy on their terms.
Call it what it is: an intentional forced red-state invasion by future Democrat welfare voters, and declare [state by state] that we will stop the invasion by all means necessary.
Let the feds send them all to blue states.
I always thought it but never really said much because I assumed people would think I was nuts or conspiracy hack thats just extreme right and mad Trump lost. But just looking at it. The only way biden had any shot of making it close was if the economy crashed. He had it running smooth and things couldn’t have been much better. Most everyone was working and making money. Gas prices down and going down. More and more jobs were being created for everyone. They needed that to crash and place blame on him for anything they could. Even if they had to make stuff up.
So in comes a virus from a country that hates Trump because he stood up to them and wanted things fair. I kept thinking no way they would allow a virus that would kill people all over the world out just to help steal a election. They already had a plan to steal it and create votes and use machines that could switch votes also. They needed the perfect idea to allow people to vote from home. That would allow the millions of votes needed to get a guy in office that they hid in a basement so the dem voters couldn’t see his mental stability was bad. They actually got away with it right in front of our faces. They put in the perfect puppet. Already in bed with china and paid for. And they can remove him anytime they want. In the mean time do whatever they want. I just wonder if the people in on it worry that the truth will eventually come out and the people will find out and it hits the fan. Will it ever happen or will they get a full 4 years to destroy everything. Or am I just paranoid and way off here..

You know, there are other issues than abortion. We have to be able to deal with more then one thing at a time. DeSantis is amazingly pro life. Shredding him for things beyond his control is probably unwise.
As if they were given a choice. Look at governments around the world imposing the exact same lockdowns - many still with no end in sight. The command to imitate the CCP approach went out from...who knows who...and all of the collectivists obeyed without question.
To tell the truth, I tend to wear gloves using shopping carts, because I don't like hand sanitizer and someone just before me who is sick may have handled the cart.
I have a limited supply of HCQ and Ivermectin too if need be, but you have to go through hoops to get them because of Fauci, so I'm saving this supply till needed.
Last week DeSantis took a new stand - he's forbidden anyone from teaching Critical Race Theory in Florida's public school system...
Sure, if you lock down an island for the rest of civilization, it will work, but what happens if they ever lift the lockdown to live life again?
I’m more interested in why India has so few cases. it and China are the most populated places on earth, yet India has few cases. Is it the Hydroxychloroquine used for malaria. Is it the Ivermectin used for worms and skin diseases or do they just not report the cases.
I think it is the use of Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin that Fauci refuses to allow here for emergency Covid use.
Why are they allowing the illegals with covid in? 10% have it. They don’t even isolate them. I guess they need to get the Covid cases back up to keep the fear going.

Let us know what actually happens in Florida when teachers and administrators massively disobey DeSantis, will you?
Roughly 20% more elderly people died over the past 12 months than died in the typical year prior to the virus.
What society chooses to do about this is a debate that far too often takes place without understanding those numbers.
People don’t like masks so they decide masks are some evil left wing plot.
People don’t like lockdown so they decide lockdowns don’t stop a virus.
Do masks work? What does work mean? Would the 20% number be higher if there were no masks? Don’t know. Neither do you.
If you have the virus and no one is near you, can you pass it along? Doesn’t seem likely? Are we agreed on that? If no one is around you it’s unlikely you can pass it along.
Now, here’s the important part. Do you care about 20%? Don’t spiral off into other aspects. Stay focused on the fundamental question. Do we care if 20% more elderly die than usual?
And factor the following into your answer:
A 75 yr old can normally expect about 12 more years of life.
An 85 year can normally expect about 6 more years of life.
So don’t presume the 85 yr old has only a few weeks left and a virus killing them in 3 weeks doesn’t do much.
Now that you know all that, do you care about 20%?
I did - but not in January. I also didn't catch anything at the November march on DC. I got 'Rona from a gathering around the corner in late Feb. One of my friends is still in the hospital (10 days and counting). I take antiviral supplements, and weathered it without too much discomfort.
Our son works in an ER. He says they had a huge spike in the 3 weeks after Thanksgiving, but things are calming down again. No flu at all this year. They test incoming patients for both.
