Agreed...last time I listened was when Mark Steyn hosted. This morbid fascination is absurd.

Everyone knew for the past year that Rush’s days were numbered.

Playing clips of Rush, as you say, sets up failure.

I haven’t listened to the EIB for two weeks. It’s a shame. I also expected better.

The Rush Limbaugh show is being dropped already here in Jacksonville, FL. Starting next week WOKV is moving their 10-Noon conservative talk local guy into Rush’s old time slot. The clip thing isn’t going to work. They need to name a permanent new host and get on with life.

While I miss Rush a lot, I do find it sort of comforting to hear the clips of him, especially when I’ve been out of the room and only hear Rush when I return.

It gives me a few minutes of recapturing our now-lost nation.
