CJD is an awful disease. Like watching someone suffer alzhmers on steroids... a couple months and dead. Horrible. It’s origin I think is something to do with species eating its own. Cattle being fed cattle meat in the feed....and humans eating that meat. It can stay dorman for decades befors symptoms emerge...uaually in your 60s. Someone getting it now could have gotten it in the 1970s or 80s.

If you must have a jab for work go for the J&J, Kroger’s is doing them after 6pm. Earlier it’s a crap shoot, these will all be seasonal like the flu, not just a booster, as they keep mutating.
It doesn't sound like CJD to me. My brother in law died from CJD a number of years ago. He self diagnosed that he had a problem in December, and died the next March. It is always fatal, and happens quickly.
Look at the operating suits and tools used.
I would bet you have one person with CVD, and it contaminated the whole thing.
Similar to how it spread in England with dental work.
Big question is how many other people went through the same surgery with no ill effects? It seems some are more resistant to prions than others. Just like CWD was supposed to destroy the deer population, and in some areas the numbers are recovering.
