How about a deal?
It’s called “One for One”.
For each citizen killed by a criminal, one city official is also put to death. The official may be chosen by the citizen’s family.

Proposing to abolish the police department of a city of 30,000 should be sufficient grounds to commit its mayor to an insane asylum.
To: Regulator
The problem here is that they’re pulling a “California,” moving out of the city into the surrounding countryside and ruining our small towns in the Finger Lakes.

As a potential juror, I have resolved to find “innocent” any person who has been charged with harming any family member of any democrat politician.

Svante Myrick — who has served as mayor of Ithaca, N.Y., since assuming the role in 2011 at age 24 — announced his comprehensive plan to replace the city’s current 63-officer department with a civilian-led “Community Solutions and Public Safety Department” in an interview with GQ Magazine last month.Svante should die first...because that would be just.
To: Behind Liberal Lines
“Everyone wants the police to perform better when they show up, everybody wants that,” Myrick told journalist Wesley Lowery.Especially the criminal thugs....
It's obvious why this kid mayor is not working for NASA.....He's not a rocket scientist...

I drove through Ithaca once. The buildings and stores were dripping all over with HilLIARy signs. It seems that each was trying to outdo the other with their liberalism.

when, I was in hs, when we would travel by bus for away basketball games, the thuggery of the Ithaca team was always an undercurrent...because of certain circumstances, enough said....
as you come over the hill driving into Ithaca its a beautiful town...Cornell in all its glory, the beautiful Cayuga lake, the vacation home of Rod Serling, with grape vineyards and cherry orchards lining the length of the lake, its just a total crime what they have done to that place....total crime...

Ithaca’s two main campuses - Cornell and Ithaca College, will still keep their campus police.
the town itself has a few rough edges, but nothing close to Los Angeles or Chicago.
At heart its still a small town.

Actually, if everyone just started carrying a shotgun in public, this would work fine. A few residents testing fate, will pass from this Earth.

Cornell is in Ithica. It makes one wonder about campus security there. Is there a campus police force? Is Cornell right in town or on the edge of town? Are the campus police real police as opposed to mall.cop type security guards? Are elements of a liberal university behind trying to force the abandonment of police in that town?
To: Behind Liberal Lines
it'll take Cornellians getting murdered and the city sued before the pendulum starts the other way
