It was done back in 2010 and she became one of only two Senate candidates who ever successfully launched and won a write in campaign. Strom Thurmond was the first.

Should have been done back in 2010. She had revealed her stripes even before that.She was defeated in the GOP primary in 2010, she ran as an independent (and a write-in at that) against a "real Republican", and she won by 11 000 votes.
She will do it again, or run as a Democrat. She will be very difficult to beat, especially for a woman whom lives in Arizona.
