Just WOW! They don’t make many like this hero. All these whiners of today should be made to read his story, if they think they have it rough because they thought someone looked at them wrong or their local Mickey D’s was out of fries.
I once rode a metric century bicycle event put on by Wounded Warriors out of the LBJ Ranch in Stonewall Texas. Also participating in the ride were soldiers from both the US Army and the Royal Army - quite a few were amputees, and still finishing the 62 miles at no slouch pace. These were soldiers who would, if asked, jump out of the helicopter again. Not a single whining snowflake among them.

Whining seems to be the only thing taught these days.
