......The Minneapolis Police Department squad car has been in storage at the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension garage pending this trial. One day a couple months ago, Nelson, along with the other defense attorneys and some staff members, went there to look over the car.
Inside, Nelson said they spotted some chewed up pills and a full pill. And the state tested them.
"They are in fact methamphetamine and fentanyl, and they contain the DNA of George Floyd," Nelson said.
The implication is that the drugs were in Floyd's mouth, and he spit them out when the former officers were trying to place him in the police car.
The state has given no explanation how the BCA could have missed that potential evidence.
BLM sprung from a lie. The left lives lies. Lies are like water to fish for those who do not fear God.
If the judge doesn’t allow it, the drugs found could very well be argued as cause for reversal on appeal.

Nah, Mark Fuhrman planted ‘em there.

some people are claiming you can see Floyd put pills in his mouth on the police cam videos
trying to swallow them to hid them I assume
What a friggin dumpster fire.
>>Nelson brought it up Monday in the course of arguing for the 2019 arrest of George Floyd to be allowed as evidence<<
Is that the arrest about a month before the Chauvin arrest where he also was saying he couldn’t breathe?
This shouldn’t be such a surprise, Floyd had lethal amounts of fentanyl in his system when he died - its what killed him.
Looks like a corrupt state.
Bump
He was already high, according to the toxicology tests. This tends to confirm it.
Are they suggesting he wasn’t because he spit out a few pills?
How could he not allow that? Everything was predicated on that.
Uh oh. St. Floyd in trouble.
Next time I see a drug addict I’ll remember to put my knee on his neck for eight minutes. Problem solved....sarc
The defense should read this to the Jury
When people overdose on fentanyl, their breathing can slow or stop. This can decrease the amount of oxygen that reaches the brain, a condition called hypoxia. Hypoxia can lead to a coma and permanent brain damage, and even death.

I really don’t give a crud about the drugs. The cop had his knee on Floyds neck for 8 minutes. That ticks me off.

Worked before.
Sarcasm, yes?
I was with a person who had taken Fentanyl before coming to meet me. He was fine and then he wasn’t. He slid to the floor and his breathing slowed to about every 20 to 30 seconds and was very gaspy. I was on my phone to 911 immediately. A Sheriff arrived and administered Narcan. It took 3 shots but within minutes the victim was almost normal.
A cop with Chauvin’s amount of experience should have recognized that the person in custody was under the influence and in trouble. He may even of had Narcan with him. I had never seen this before, but because the person I was meeting had a history of drug use I was pretty darn sure of what was happening. I would love to be able to support Chauvin, but I believe he is going down.
approximately how long after arrest was the ambulance called by the police?
