House passes 'Protect the 'Right to Organize Act,' 225-206, sends bill to Senate

With no major labor reform since the 1930s, Democrats are seizing on the opportunity to strengthen workers' rights -- including their ability to unionize.

On Tuesday, the House of Representatives passed the PRO (Protect the Right to Organize) Act, the most pro-worker labor reform in decades, according to the bill’s sponsors, by a vote of 225-206. Though it faces an uphill battle in the 50/50 split Senate, President Joe Biden has said that labor reform is one of his administration’s top priorities.

The House passed a version of the bill last year, but it was dead on arrival in the Republican-controlled Senate. This time, Republicans are all but certain to filibuster the legislation that many major business groups oppose. The Chamber of Commerce says it would “destabilize America’s workplaces and impose a long list of dangerous changes to labor law.”

Yeah, maybe these unions will vote lock step with the socialists so that Braindead can cut another 12,000 jobs with a stroke of his Crayola pink pen.

No, the corporations don’t care because they are rich.

It will be us the buyers who will have no choice than to pay 10 times more than things are worth, or go without. That is why new vehicles are so expensive/cost way too much because the EVIL unions.

Well every day is another nightmare. Contrast this to when we had both houses and the President. They have ruthless partisans like Chuck and Nancy we had the worthless losers Ryan and Mitch

And yet, the Chamber of Commerce was a major player in rigging the election in Biden’s favor, according to that Time article.

Exactly. In the first 3 months of Trump they should have passed a national right to work law. The rats have ruthless partisans like Chuck and Nancy we had the worthless losers Ryan and Mitch.

Going out on a limb here but maybe those business groups shouldn’t have supported Biden for president, supported Bidentifa with billions of dollars, helped the fraud, and helped the democrats get majorities in con-gress. In a few years they’ll still support Democrats regardless of what bad laws they are saved from.

The PRO Act forces unionization of workers who don’t want to join a union or pay union dues

I'm proud that I was a company spy at a union organizing meeting.   The Union Gorilla looked right at me during the meeting like he knew everything, but also knew there wasn't a thing I could do because he already had them in his pocket.   The Union came in, the plant went to one quarter of the employees that worked there before the organizing and the plant completely closed within a year.   Before I got my pink slip I already had a delayed enlist report date with the USAF.

When the obverse side of a union card actually says Brotherhood of Workers Unite, there is nothing left to know.

Drumming up votes because they do not think they can steal enough to overcome this lying, self serving, pos administration.

Oh but the die is cast for all further elections to be stolen by the socialist party.

TEXANS, time to support TEXIT by calling your state rep to support HB1359 and volunteer at TNM.me to help Texas to become a free and independent republic once again. Time to kick the lying pos elected officials and 2.5 million unelected bureaucrats out of TEXAS

Very informative.

IMHO, the socialists in DC will not follow laws and decisions made. They will ignore them for two reasons.. First, they stand in their way to gaining more power and laundered taxes we pay and secondly, who is going to stop them.......

This isn’t meant to pass. It’s meant to be filibustered by the Republicans in the Senate so the Democrats can use it as campaign issue in union states like Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin.

Anti-worker but pro-union.

You got that right. Can this override states who are "Right To Work"?
