Leading airline and business groups are asking the Biden administration to develop temporary credentials that would let travelers show they have been tested and vaccinated for COVID-19, a step that the airline industry believes will help revive travel.
Various groups and countries are working on developing so-called vaccine passports aimed at allowing more travel. But airlines fear that a smattering of regional credentials will cause confusion and none will be widely accepted.
“It is crucial to establish uniform guidance” and “the U.S. must be a leader in this development,” more than two dozen groups said in a letter Monday to White House coronavirus-response coordinator Jeff Zients. We have no idea how long a vaccination will actually prevent infection. This is not conspiracy just truth. The people who got it in the early part of 2021 need to be monitored for long term efficacy imo. Some early reports indicating immunity may fade rapidly, and that it is not nearly as effective among the elderly as hoped.

One “you can do this if you have the vaccine” directive from California cuts off the freedom if it’s been longer than 3 months since you’ve had the vaccine. I think there’s some antibody-dependency findings about this vaccine that they aren’t releasing.

So people coming to California can’t come if they were vaccinated more than 3 months previously?
