In my view, syria has become pretty much irrelevant.
The historically significant event was the missile attack by the Houthis on Dhahran.
The attack in essence was provocation by Iran to attack the Iranian mainland.
I don’t believe Iran can survive a prolonged effort by the new alliance. The combined alliance air forces can do great harm. Iran is the enemy of all except Americans taking the recycled $$$ and must be severely maimed
When we hear the Europeans whining, we will know the damage inflicted is doing some good Qum must go.
From a bible prophecy perspective, Syria is significant. Not only that it’s prophesied Damascus will be destroyed, but that Gog (Magog means the “prince of Rosh.” (Gog) Rosh is the old root word for the land of Russia.) will be drawn into a Middle East conflict.
Persia and Media (Arabia) will be in the mix as well against Israel. What we’re seeing are just the sideline issues and preliminaries many believe will lead eventually to the Ezekiel 38 battle.
If America is “mystery Babylon,” we may not be a witness to this particular battle having been removed from the scene by a surprise nuclear attack. Our own Perl Harbor style Armageddon, if you will.
I’ve often wondered how any country could attack us in such a manner and possibly think they would come away unscathed, given our ability to annihilate anyone who dared, until Biden/Harris came to power and the resulting confusion over who should be in control of the “football.”
Now I see something like this as a real possibility. And there is prophecy that may apply:
I will invade a land of unwalled villages; I will attack a peaceful and unsuspecting people—all of them living without walls and without gates and bars. I will plunder and loot and turn my hand against the resettled ruins and the people gathered from the nations, rich in livestock and goods, living at the center of the land.
This is Israel, but it could also include America. I believe any country having plans for Israel would first need to remove somehow the threat of America coming to Israel’s aid, militarily or politically.
Syria is very relevant in what outsized role it has played on Western governments. If not for the media bias against Assad, hundreds of thousands of fake refugees would not have been admitted to Germany. It was this so called civil war that created an alliance from the GOP neo-cons with the Democrats that concocted the whole Russian narrative. To oppose removing Assad = Russian plant in their narrative.
