We certainly help speed things up by boycotting the Georgia Senate runoffs and thereby handing the Senate to the Democrats without even needing to cheat (to ‘teach the GOP a lesson’, I guess).

But we were doomed once we, as a country, sided against Senator McCarthy and allowed Communists to operate freely here. It took a while, but they knew what they were doing, and it was just a matter of time before all of the pieces were put in place.

Now it’s game over. But heck, it was worth it, after all we did ‘teach the GOP a lesson’. Right?

The cancer in our (once state-directed) republic began with The Fed, 16A, 17A and 19A.

The cancer’s been spreading and deepening for a century. It has now metastasized and is killing its victim. Only very harsh, intrusive and damaging treatment can stop it, and the victim will have many scars.

Gotta hand to to Karl Marx regarding useful idiots, though!

Actually we had a chance to keep the republic, even with RINOs holding the keys to power. I realize it was a long time ago, but Trump got HUNDREDS of judges seated, at least half of which would not have been seated, but for RINOs supported them.

...anyway, we just threw that all away, despite Trump’s best efforts not to by going to Georgia twice. Happy now?

The only thing that makes me happy is frying RINOs in the general election. That makes me happy.

It certainly makes Chuck and Nancy happy too!

I see your type of nonsensical comment a lot on this blog. The people who refuse to vote for scurrilous and untrustworthy scalawags are not responsible for the election of outright crooks and criminals done by others who do vote for the monsters. If this society is so utterly foul and degenerate that no matter what you do will lead to a bad end then it’s better to disengage from participation in rotten-to-the-core politics altogether to save your eternal soul.

“Cleaning house. That or new party.”

I’m with you on a new party (led by Trump, of course). I’d just like the Republic to hold up long enough that its leaders don’t immediately get jailed.

Always liked Schlichter's screeds, but this one is so right on target it's scary.

He's correct, this is where we are. And sadly I don't think we make it to 2022 in one piece.

“I see your type of nonsensical comment a lot on this blog.”

So your strategy is to empower the people who want to destroy your life and your livelihood, and then bitch at the fact that these people, the people you’ve now empowered...are destroying your life and your livelihood.

I’ll let others chime-in on who is being ‘nonsensical’.

So in 2022, I take it you're all for re-electing Lisa Murkowski and Liz Cheney, if they're they only "Republican candidates?<>> Paul Ryan is already holding fundraisers for Liz, who shows open disdain for the people she is supposed to represent, and you can be sure they party establishment will try to keep her there by hook or crook.

I notice you blame the voters in Georgia, but not the governor for allowing the questionable voting practices in place. Or how about Kelly Loeffler, who made questionable stock trades re:Covid, or refused to stand for Trump until it looked like her refusal was turning off people who otherwise might have voted to put her in?

Care to answer? Because your spam blaming voters sounds like something that would come from a Rick Wilson, Paul Ryan, or Bill Krystol.

"One thing is for certain, though. This is not sustainable. And the elite seems to sense this can’t go on without a massive backlash, judging from how they cower from the American people behind soldiers and barbed wire. If you break the social contract with red America, if you decide to withdraw from the Constitution, you better be prepared to find someone else to feed, fuel, and fight for your regime. Count us out."

That's called "withdrawal of consent". Next comes use of force by the illegitimate to force compliance.

Our Constitution was corrupted nearly a century ago by the 16th and 17th Amendments and a House rule limiting House membership to 435. Those were the progressive corruptions set us on a course for absolute tyranny and that have now reached critical mass.

And, not even Conservatives want to correct it. They don’t think it can be done. As long as they believe that, they are correct. Enjoy subjugation and serfdom. That is the history of the world anyway. The only thing that ever made us special was the willingness to do what needs to be done. It appears we have lost that.
