Trump’s problem were always his associates, most of whom were just hangers on. His daughter is a lib, what does that say for Jared? Had Trump, had confidantes who were loyal he would have won the election. Just look at his appointments, Session, McMaster, Kelly, Mattis, Wray, Chou, kavanaugh, Gorsuch, Barrett, etc. disasters all.
The only “problem” POTUS Trump had was not being familiar with how the Swamp operates since he was an Outsider.
He had to depend on the advice of others when making Appointments.
As to his having Ivanka and her Husband on board, they were probably amongst the handful of People he could trust.
