Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla has cancelled a planned visit to Israel as it emerged he had not been fully vaccinated against COVID because he 'didn't want to jump the line' - in a blow to his 'friend' Benjamin Netanyahu as he fights for re-election.
Bourla, 59, and some of his staff have received their first doses but are yet to receive their second, while others in his team have got both doses but have not completed the mandatory seven-day wait afterwards to develop an immune response.
Pfizer announced Thursday the visit had been postponed, after reports emerged that Bourla had not been fully vaccinated. It is unclear if the decision followed pressure from Israeli officials. Dailymail.com has contacted Pfizer for comment.
Pfizer told Channel 12 News, which broke the story: 'We continue to be interested in visiting Israel and meeting with decision-makers, health officials and professionals that are taking part in the successful vaccine drive in Israel.'
Bourla vowed in December that he would not 'jump the line' to get the vaccine, despite being the head of the company making the drug in partnership with German company BioNTech.
He was due to arrive in Israel on March 8, just 15 days before the March 23 election, which will sees Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu up against Yair Lapid, head of the centrist Yesh Atid party.
Netanyahu has repeatedly touted his personal rapport with Bourla as a reason why Israel has managed to secure 10million doses of the Pfizer vaccine as part of its world-leading immunization programme.
Bourla's decision to delay the trip will come as a blow to Netanyahu as he seeks to trumpet the jab programme as a reason to re-elect his Likud party.

Read the article. He took the first dose when his age and risk factor group was in line for it. He did not jump to the front of the line due to his status. He did the right thing otherwise the shrills would be screaming he is killing grandma by taking a dose from her. He is due his second dose soon and will reschedule his trip. This story is a giant nothingburger for tinfoil vax loons.
I mistakenly read the headline as above, when I first glanced at it. Did a double-take.
Plain silly. Anyone part of the critical vaccine infrastructure is eligible to get the vaccine. (At least in california.)

No matter which way he played this he would have been criticized.
If he took it early to show it was safe, he would have been accused by some of ‘line jumping’ (remember AOC?), probably even by his own employees.
If he waited until his turn , he gets accused of not believing in the product.
There was no right way to play this one - fact of the matter is all Pfizer employees were NOT eligible a long time ago - most have been working remotely so had no special need - the people who had to show up in person every day - i.e. critical factory floor workers - did have some higher priority based on CDC rules, it was only last week that the rest of Pfizer employees became eligible.
SO the vast majority of Pfizer employees have only had their first shot so far, and most will get there second shot 2-3 weeks from now - just like the CEO.

The story is a cover because Pfizer parties are likely to be lynched when they arrive in Israel by the public.
Above link reports where multiple independent Israeli doctors and social working groups are now attacking Pfizer for a vaccine which kills 20x as many recipients as the C-Virus. They are calling it a new Holocaust.

So Netanyahu is up for reelection. As I recall he was one of the first heads of state to congratulate Biden. I believe President Trump removed him quickly from his Twitter friend list. My prediction is that Netanyahu is going to be defeated. And he Probably deserves to be

Covid is not a Vaccination. So how are they “vax loons”? Or is any medical procedure decided for you by politicians trustworthy, just because.
Not studying the issue, then calling someone who has studied a loon is, well, loony.
