That was certainly a gutsy move by Sen. Sinema. I wonder why she was being so provocative there. Could she be thinking about coming over from the dark side?

Sinema definitely definitely rates high towards the quirky side. Nothing new there.

I think she drives Senate leadership nuts as she apparently is not a lockstep D voter. This was also the case while she was in the House previously. I read a quote of hers recently that was to the effect that she doesn't preview her votes, which would make it more difficult for the D Whip vote counters to gauge where they stand on close votes. She also has some amount of pragmatism.
