The only Constitutional mechanism for removing a Representative or Senator besides death, resignation, or election loss is a 2/3rds vote of his/her House for removal. There is no recall, no impeachment, no other way. Since she represents a safe district, we get her as long as she lives or wants to run for re-election.

Gov Abbott has already pulled Texas NG back home. Wonder what would happen if various governors who still have troops in DC should pull their troops home as well? Would the Joint Chiefs of Staff send in active duty military to back fill? Would doing that be in conflict of the Posse Comitatus Act? Wondering 🤔.....
