Get him out of there ie the Senate!
Thanks for the post.
Go Get him President Trump!
Yes!
Yep...I can think of no better outlet from which to plant a size twelve on to Rinos' donkeys. The WSJ was a good choice: I'm surprised they gave DJT the opening.
Do you really think Donald Trump has the makings of a US Senator?
He’s be one of fifty or so Republicans (and a junior one at that) in that chamber, each with a decent sized ego and self-interest. He would be a king of the hill, wouldn’t be surrounded by the circle of assistants and luxury he’s enjoyed as President and past President. There’d endless meetings and hearings where no one would defer to him.
I think it’s a pipe dream to imagine he’d take such a demotion. Now Ivanka on the other hand.....
“President Trump came to Georgia with the specific message that his Deplorables (as well as his undeplorable supporters) should turn out to vote for Loeffler and Perdue...Did they disregard his plea out of hatred and a thirst for retaliation?”
No, but the reason they sat out that runoff, despise Trump going there twice to tell them to vote, was because they look at voting for a person as somehow ‘rewarding’ that particular candidate, rather than trying to keep a Leftist mob at bay - if for no other reason, to give their kids and grandkids a chance at being able to live in the same country we got to live in.
Now they put the country’s fate into the hands of Democrats, brilliant move. It’s a weakness on our side and it’s selfish and despicable.
Chao could have and such have been investigated when President Trump still occupied the White House.
That ship has sailed.
So you you want Trump to go the Bush route and not respond to ridiculous assertions and accusations?
If I truly felt the Journal was irrelevant I wouldn’t bother. I’d save my powder for CNN and Pelosi.
(As for GWB, I don’t think anyone ever said, “If only he lashed out at every criticism both great and small he’d have been a more effective president and politician.” For all his flaws, he did get elected twice.)
Except, that's not what happened. The WSJ Editorial Board wrote a donkey-braying editorial accusing him of the heartbreak of psoriasis, while ignoring Trump set the vote record for incumbent President and any prior GOP candidate for the Office of President.
Thank you FRiend, great read!
Since many of us provided facts and figures in this thread -- and are aware of Kentucky politics the way you are aware of Maryland politics -- perhaps we should wander over to your thread and shit it up the way you've done here.
Thanks for going to all that trouble. There certainly must be some point to it.
Since you joined FR several months ago your persistent, constant passive/aggressive shots at Trump have not gone unnoticed out here. it’s not a good look for a grown man, which I presume that you are.
That you’re surprised about getting blowback shows a total lack of self-awareness on your part. Your anti-Trump comments are like a low-level infection...it gets on poster’s nerves after a while, but you know that.
On reflection, here are quick facts to mull over while I go for my evening run.
1. Trump pointlessly wasted his vitriol on a target (The Journal) which he himself declared to be of no value.
2. McConnell won re-election in a cakewalk. He’s in debt to no one.
3. Trump rallied his supporters to vote for Loeffler and Perdue. Whatever baggage they might have carried, the fact is that his exhortation failed.
4. The stimulus payment debacle can clearly be laid at Trump’s feet.
Most Republicans in Congress were adamantly opposed to a substantial subsidy program. (I’m pretty sure that most Freepers felt likewise.) Throughout Senate negotiations between Republicans and Democrats, the White House was represented by Secretary Mnuchin.
At no point before the deal being announced did Mnuchin communicate that a $2000 payment was an Administration demand.
Only after several wrenching weeks of bargaining and the announcement of the deal did Trump sucker punch not just McConnell but the entire Republican caucus.
This public humiliation of Senate Republicans probably didn’t do much to boost turnout for the Georgia senators, but somehow it was all McConnell’s fault.
Is that fact-y enough for you?
As a grown man I’m scarcely troubled by internet blowback.
Donald....
How can I miss you if you do t go away for a while? Not saying you can’t try a comeback...but this crap isn’t helping anyone.
The blowback is not from the internet, retread, it’s from Free Republic posters.
Once you automate the job of the black inner city voter with a Dominion voting robot, you don't pay them any more.

He will soon be serving coffee to resident CGWhore.
