A new bill introduced would require California department stores and other big-box retailers to have gender-neutral kids’ clothing and toys.
Introduced by Assemblymembers Evan Low, whose district covers Campbell, Calif. and Cristina Garcia, both Democrats, Assembly Bill 1084 would prohibit large retailers from segregating children’s toys and clothing by gender.

If someone WANTS to wear the clothes of the opposite sex, they are easier to find when they are in the women’s section.
This about denying women a “women’s wear” section to begin with. And jokes aside, bras are not a garment men need to wear.
How about a blue “Children’s” section and a pink “Children’s” section. You don’t need labels.

I was wondering. Most “trans women” want desperately to be called women, and make a big show of going into the bathroom labeled “women.” Same for “trans men.” The trans crowd loves the binary distinction male/female and is willing to put you in jail for using the “wrong” pronoun. You could lose your savings, spouse, family and life for saying “he” when it wants you to say “she.”
So the trans loves the natural division of humans into male/female. Fine. Normal humans do too.
Then there’s the “no gender distinction” crowd. They want to eliminate all signs of the dichotomy male/female. They insist on genderless toys, bathrooms, pronouns, names and clothes.
The insane left hates the natural division of humans into male/female.
It looks like both groups, although contradictory, have equal power over anyone who doesn’t think their way. If one group doesn’t condemn you, the other will.
Wrong monster. Hitler youth had very different clothes for boys and girls. You have to go to China during the Mao years to find men and women wearing the same outfits. But hey, there were color choices! Olive Green, Grey and Blue.
And during The Cultural Revolution, rival gangs of Red Guards were constantly fighting each other.

In the Assembly, Garcia has championed liberal, feminist progressive causes, including early legislation to protect Assembly employees who report sexual harassment that led her to be described as a leader of the #MeToo movement. That created problems in 2018, when she was accused by two men of having propositioned and, in one case, groped them at Assembly events; her staff also said she created a hostile work environment, making them play spin the bottle. Garcia was stripped of her Assembly committee seats after an investigation into the charges, which she claimed were false and politically motivated, found she had used racist and homophobic language to refer to other Assemblymembers as well as requiring staffers to perform personal tasks for her. The investigation into the sexual harassment allegations is still pending.
