I have never found a Lentil Soup recipe that I really like.

Does your sis have any ideas?

1. Fry up some bacon and put it to one side.
2. Saute onion and celery in the bacon fat.
3. Wash lentils and add them, along with water or chicken stock. Crumble the bacon and add that too.
4. Cover, bring to a boil, and simmer for several hours.

Or, you can open a can of Progresso which is pretty decent.
